Bangabandhu's Book Month

The purpose of Book Month is to develop and encourage reading across the school, and develop a love of reading for pleasure.  Reading is so important that we have devoted a whole month to it! It is also an opportunity to explore Literacy through different forms e.g. workshops, poetry, illustrations, meet and greet authors etc. We will also be launching our new ‘Must Reads’, look out for them! We will explain what this is all about very soon.

Here's some of the things that will be happening during Book Month:

Thursday 3rd March - Opening Assembly

We will have an opening assembly to introduce Book Month. Revealing our holiday home learning project winners and our whole school reading display. All the events and visits during the course of the month will be revealed to the children.
