Pupil Property

The school will not be responsible for items of property brought into school which get damaged or lost. Every effort will be made by staff to keep items safe and secure and to find any lost property.

We strongly discourage pupils from bringing high value or sentimental items to school. If these items are brought to school, we will not accept any responsibility for their recovery or replacement in the case of loss, theft or damage.

Pupils are not allowed to have internet enabled phones on the school site as we advocate against children having these until they are 16 years of age.  If you want your child to have a phone on the way to and from school, then it must be a 'brick' phone where calls can be made and received but does not have any Internet access. These must be left in the school office at the start of the day and then collected at the end of the day.

Whilst every effort will be made to keep these items safe during the school day, the school does not accept responsibility for replacement costs.

It is essential that all children’s clothing and possessions, such as bags, are clearly named. Sadly, this will not necessarily prevent losses occurring, but it will enable the many articles brought to lost property to be returned to their owners.

The majority of items reported lost or stolen are often found and staff will make every effort to find misplaced items. Where items are not recovered our school does not accept responsibility for replacement costs.
